Ebay & £1 shop

Hi Beauties,
Today’s post is a small haul I did in January.
I was hoping to do separate blogs and youtube video’s for the £1 shop and Ebay
but not a lot jumped out at me, so its combined and little lol.
So this is what I managed to get my hands on.

Poundland is where everything came from apart from the 3 Kiss Proof
Lip pencils.

Simple corrector pen.
Firstly I didn’t know the brand Simple did things like this.
I have seen plenty of people with corrector pens but for me I am happy using concealer to sort out mistakes but when I seen this I decided to try it because after all it was only £1.
This has been working well when cleaning up eye shadow and eye liner so I think I may have been converted lol.

Revlon Silver eyeliner & smudge brush.
I grabbed this for using on my bottom water line, so that I have a change from using white all the time. Nice silver not over powering and from a well know brand all for £1.
 Look at these little beauties.
Nail art pens with gems.
These came 2 in a pack and yes you guess it £1 a pack.
These have tiny nips at the top, then the nail varnish and then matching gems.
I will be doing a blog on these and hopefully some funny designs to go with it.
But for now I just wanted to show you them.

So for the corrector pen, silver eye liner and 6 art pens for my nails the grand total was £5, now that’s not a bad shop.

Ebay, well I was quite disappointed after Christmas that nothing was jumping out at me and into my basket except for these.
 Kiss Proof lip pencils.
These have been doing their rounds on youtube for about a month,
so yes I wanted to jump in and see what all the fuss was about.
I didn’t go wild and buy all 24 colors because after all I needed to see if they
suited my lips 1st.
So I felt 3 would be enough to give them a try and boy am I glad I did.
I will be doing a blog on these soon with swatches for you to see how well
they work and the colors.
I paid 99p each so these cost £2.97 and o yes that is a bargain for lip pencils.

So there you have my Ebay and pound land haul.
I am hoping that this month there is more to choose from but I won’t hold my breath lol.

My week in a blog.

Hi Beauties
Belated Happy Halloween 🙂
I do hope you all have fun if you went partying or took the little munchkins trick or treating.
So here is my weekly round up.

What did I do this week, well lots of blog writing as you can see by my posts. It has been great to get fully
back into the swing of writing again.
Went to slimming world after not going for a bit and gained 1.5lbs but it was fully deserved.
Finally got to meet up with my girlfriends for a full night of Chinese, drinks and so much laughter that my head
hurt by the time I got home. Dam blood pressure lol.
Took daughter shopping as it has been half term and the weather has been pretty poor.
We bought a few nice things had lunch and a good giggle.
I was very disappointed with Tanya Burr’s advent calendar, I bought it for daughter and had a nose
just in case there was an item in there she has asked me for. Not worth the money in my opinion.
Husband had a day off and took us both out to Lakeside (big shopping center) we had lunch again but I was very
pleased with myself and didn’t join them for Burger King and had coffee with two cereal bars lol.
After a good walk round popping in and out of Mac, Benefit and lots more shops, we popped to Ikea
to get a few bits for our bedroom.
I have been watching a series from a couple of years back called Heroes which I am fully enjoying
and do not know why I missed it when it came out the 1st time round.
You tube video editing has been long this week but still enjoying do them. I really want to push harder with the
videos and get better so that people may enjoy them better.
I was very pleased last week as my Instagram followers hit 200.
I know not a great deal to some people but for me this is fantastic. My picture likes are going from say 14-15
to 30-40 which is really making me smile.
I am waiting for my CRB check to come through the post and then I will be able to start working again soon,
so that’s another exciting thing for me to look forward to.
So ok it has been a busy week and pretty basic to some of you, but I feel great health wise,
and this has give me the get up and go to concentrate more and get my blogs up more often.

son has just come through the door as I have been writing this and gave me a card.
I think this was such a nice surprise, a nice message inside too saying thanks for all you do and don’t you ever
forget  me and Bethany love you.
What a lovely thing to start the week off with.

Happy birthday to me :) Haul

HI Beauties
sorry it has been over a week since my last post, but as you can see by the title it has been my birthday and it was a busy few days.
I wanted to share with you the beautiful gifts I got. This is not a blog to brag or show off, I wanted to share with you how lucky I am this year with my family and friends.

I got lots of goodies that I cannot wait to do reviews on. I got a lot of items on offer like 3 for 2 and buy 2 for x amount.
I visited Superdrug, Boots, Poundland and Primark.

My son bought me the Laura Geller Makeup set that was on QVC last month.
I had never tried her brand but had read quite a few reviews so was very excited when I open this and had no choice but to try it right away lol. Review coming very soon on this.

With the money and gift card I had left from family and friends I bought this little bundle.

Now this last photo I wanted to share with you all because it meant so much to me. My daughter is 12 and last month when I had emptied my glossy box she asked to use it. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I opened the box to all this. Jackie Collins is my favorite author and a few years ago I lost a lot of my collection to flooding.  I am loving certain Barry M shades at the moment, my favorite body spray and much more. My daughter had been telling me porkies because when I noticed she didn’t have any pocket money I asked what she had been spending it on and her reply was on snacks at school :0
The new look gift card well that was a shock to us all as no one seemed to know how she got it, then it dawned on me a conversation a while back. At her school they get vivo points for homework, good behavior ect and they can save their points for gifts, so what has she done? YES treated me to a gift card instead of something for herself.

I share my birthday with my husband so normally we just buy each other a little something and go out for a meal, this year my husband wanted to do something more because I always share (his words lol).
I cannot wait to take pictures of swatches and makeup looks to write about and share.:)
